The breathtaking exterior design of the 2013 Sonata is the result of a design philosophy called Fluidic Sculpture. It considers the interplay of natural and fluid elements and how they interact with rigid surfaces of the vehicle’s body. The result is an aerodynamic design that also creates the impression of constant, graceful motion. The most visible result of this is the signature chrome accent – extending from the headlamps along the hood edge back to the side window line. The overall visual impression is that of a long, low, light sedan that blends sportiness with elegance in equal measures.

The 2013 Sonata comes standard with 16-inch steel wheels with attractive wheel covers. For a sportier look, 16-inch 10-spoke alloys are standard equipment on GLS, with bold, 17-inch 10-spoke alloys standard on Limited models.

Enjoy the blue, sunlit skies or stargaze at night with Sonata’s power tilt/slide sunroof. It comes with an interior sliding sunshade and UV blocking to protect both you and your interior, and is standard on the GLS and Limited models. New for 2013 is the available panoramic sunroof which includes a pop-up and slide section at front and fixed glass section at back (available on Limited with Navigation models).

Be seen with side repeater mirrors

Sonata’s large side-view mirrors offer drivers a wide view of rear and side-rear traffic for added safety, while available side repeater lights alert other drivers to your intentions when turning or changing lanes.

Elegant chrome grille and hood garnish

Sonata puts its best face forward with its stylish chrome grill – which picks up and elongates the sculptured hood creases – highlighted with a matching chrome hood garnish.
